The installation of solar systems includes both fixed photovoltaic (PV) panels and concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) tracking systems. PV panels produce electric current in a flat panel cell during exposure to sunlight. Concentrated PV devices improve efficiency in systems due to optics concentrating the amount of sunlight to a PV cell. Reutech Solutions has its own mix of solar technologies installed in Midrand, Johannesburg. The Midrand Solar Project has been used to acquire the skills for installation of similar client solar projects and to collect site specific research & development data.
