Reutech’s CEO Peter van der Bijl signed a Strategic Agreement with ERAF Industrial Co. Limited on 19 February 2019.
The agreement is for the development of ERAF’s industrial capability in Remote Weapon Systems, establishing and developing warranty and after-sales services and repairs capabilities; and the promotion of the Rogue Remote Weapons System in the Ministries of Interior and Defense in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Reutech/Barij Munitions (BM) MOU was signed on 19 February 2019 by Reutech CEO Peter van der Bijl and the CEO of Barij, Mr Arafat Alyafei. Barij Munitions is part of the Emirates Defence Industries group of companies (EDIC), and supplies small, medium and large calibre munitions.
The aim of the agreement is to pen the intentions of the companies to cooperate, at a high-level across a range of potential synergies. Two of the companies in the Reutech group have already commenced discussions with BM for the supply of capabilities in the weapon and fuze arenas.
